大分県出身の写真家
ロンドン在住時の２０１７年に古いカメラを購入し写真をはじめる。日常に潜む心ときめく瞬間を捉えた作品を得意とする。帰国後は日本国内を旅しながら、昭和から残る風景や喫茶店のシリーズを中心に撮影。2023年にはマンチェスターを拠点とする0.08imprintsより写真集「Out of the Quiet（静寂の中から）」を出版。
ai is a photographer based in Tokyo. Taking a photo became a part of her life in 2017 to record her life in London. Her work captures beautiful moments hidden in our everyday life. After coming back to Japan, she mainly takes street photography and portraits. Culture in the Showa era inspires her a lot, and recently she's been working on a series of old cafes in Japan. In 2023, she published a photobook 'Out of the Quiet' from 0.08imprints, a publisher based in Manchester.
